Oregon State Police arrested a 50-year-old Pleasant Hill man yesterday on multiple charges related to a road rage incident on Interstate 5. According to police, at approximately 7 a.m., a 41-year-old male reported that the driver of another vehicle shot at him as he passed him. The bullet narrowly missed his head and damaged two windows before the suspect exited the freeway. Police located the suspect's truck in a parking lot after canvasing the area. Lawrence Allen Michael was arrested and charged with attempted murder, menacing, unlawful use of a weapon, discharging a weapon across the highway, pointing firearm at another and second-degree criminal mischief.
