Police officers from the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety responded to a reported carjacking early yesterday morning. The victim advised he was in his vehicle in the area of NE Fairview Drive and NE Beacon Drive when a male approached with a gun, struck him in the head and stole his vehicle. The victim received minor injuries, but did not require medical attention. The suspect is described as a white male with several tattoos on his arms. He was possibly wearing grey shorts.
