10-2-12 POLICE CONTINUING TO SEARCH FOR MAN INVOLVED IN HGH-SPEED CHASE

Police are still searching for a man involved in a high-speed chase yesterday afternoon near Gold Hill. Jackson County Sheriff's deputies and Oregon State Police troopers began chasing a car driven by Toby Martinez, who is wanted on felony warrants. The chase finally ended on Blackwell Road when Martinez stopped the car and took off on foot. Police say he is still at large.
