Late Saturday, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office received a call that a gold miner had found human skeletel remains. On Sunday morning, investigators headed to a remote location in the foothills of Central Point which was only accessible by foot. The Sheriff's Office is currently working to identify the remains, which could take up to a few months to complete depending on the quality of the DNA evidence. The case remains under investigation.
