Oregon State Police is continuing the investigation into yesterday's single vehicle fatal traffic crash along Highway 199 about eight miles south of Cave Junction. Police say a Dodge pickup failed to negotiate a curve and crashed head-on into a tree. The driver, a 75-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, a 65-year-old woman, is in critical condition at Rogue Regional Medical Center. Their names will be released by authorities later today.
