The University of Oregon has confirmed details of the Dalai Lama's visit to Eugene on May 10, following his stop in Portland. The Tibetan Buddhist leader and 1989 Nobel Peace Prize winner will speak to students and others at 1:30 p.m. at Matthew Knight Arena. It will be his first visit to Eugene. He was last in Oregon in 2001 and drew 25,000 people to Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland.
