4-9-13 GRANTS PASS MAN TREATED FOR INJURIES AFTER WRECKING STOLEN CAR IN POLICE CHASE

A 29-year-old Grants Pass man is being treated for non-life threatening injuries after he crashed the stolen car he was driving while attempting to elude police. After Oregon State Police troopers attempted to stop the stolen vehicle on Highway 238, the driver sped up. After traveling over a spike strip, the driver attempted an evasive maneuver and lost control of the vehicle, which traveled across the westbound lane and overturned in a ditch.
