Medford Police apprehended a bank robber yesterday in less than ten minutes after the suspect left the bank. Police say 39-year-old Joe David Campos entered the Key Bank on East Main Street at approximately 1:20 p.m. and aggressively demanded money from the teller. Campos fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Minutes later, police caught up with Campos near Cottage Street and 10th Street. He was arrested on robbery charges and lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $15,000 bail.
