A Kerby man is in the intensive care unit at Rogue Regional Medical Center after a logging accident near Merlin left him with a fractured skull. 23-year-old Aaron O'Grady was injured on Friday when a log being pulled up a mountain by a cable knocked over a tree, which then knocked another tree, striking O'Grady, who was wearing a safety helmet. The accident occured on Hog Creek Road around noon Friday. O'Grady remains in critical condition after undergoing two surgeries to relieve pressure on his brain.
