5-13-13 MEDFORD TRANSIENT ARRESTED FOR BURGLARIZING TWO CAR LOTS

A Medford-area transient was arrested over the weekend for burglarizing two car lots. Police responded to West Main Auto Sales early Friday morning where $2,600 in tools and two vehicles had been stolen the previous evening. At 12:07 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the Used Car Lot on South Riverside where two vehicles were running with their lights on. Police entered the business and arrested 37-year-old Robert Elbert Johannessen without incident. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on charges related to both burglaries.
